I ordered an Intel 9260 AC card and installed it last week - very easy install (make sure the download the 9260 drivers beforehand, then just open the backup, unscrew a tiny plate and unplug the antenna). Afterwards, installed the drivers and everything worked great It might just be placebo but everything network related is snappy and I never have any odd dropped connections or errors:) If anyone is having network issues I highly recommend doing this, only cost about 30 and half an hour of time. Edit: As udjjuice mentioned, you need to switch the antenna cable colors (whiteblack go to blackwhite) 54 comments share save hide report 97 Upvoted This thread is archived New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast Sort by best. I opted for the non vPro since Im getting this for my personal XPS 9570. Not often enough to be completely unreliable, but enough to be annoying. I imagine for a majority of users its fine, but if you are having network issues, its a pretty easy replacement. I dont mind switching to Intel but Ill give this a fair run until I start facing any issues. When my mouse is connected wifi works okay but if I connect my BT keyboard or my TV soundbar my download speed drops from 25mb to So far ive had Dell send me out 2 replacement network cards with the agreement that theyd be intel cards. Theyve arrived and both been 1535 killer cards:( Continue this thread level 2 1 point 2 years ago my main issue was unstable drivers for Linux, intel is working good level 2 1 point 2 years ago Bluescreens, high ping, random disconnects, random driver crashes.
